Dear visitor,

My coaching practice originally started as an international one, but over the years my focus has shifted to Dutch-speaking clients. All my current programs and materials are in Dutch, and my work is closely connected to the Dutch and Belgian community.

For that reason, I’m not taking on international clients at this time.
Please note: this may change in the future, as I’m gradually working on translating all my new materials into English.

For whom is keto coaching intended?

My keto coaching services are suitable for all adults wishing to start or restart a keto lifestyle. People who choose 1-on-1 coaching do so because they want to be ensured of the correct information and a holistic approach.

Is the coaching suited for medical issues?

Keto coaching is not intended as a treatment or prevention of illness. It is also not meant to be a replacement of medical treatment or as an alternative for medical advice. This is why I do not give medical advice in any way. I am however always prepared to provide my opinion as a keto coach on medical issues but any decisions based on these opinions are at your own risk. I always advise to let your own dr know you are starting a keto lifestyle. Your dr can always contact me if he or she has any questions.

Do you also coach children?

I do not coach children, only adults. The keto lifestyle is perfectly fine for children to follow along with their parents but they do not need to follow personal macros and their intake of carbohydrates generally speaking needs to be higher.

What does keto coaching cost?

Do you have an office in Utrecht?

I do not have a physical office. My clients come from all over the world and are spread out in the Netherlands as well. This makes travel to a location in Utrecht not possible for the vast majority of my clients. Video calls however make it possible to provide personal interaction during an intake or a consultation. All daily support takes place through Whatsapp or email.

Is your practice certified?

Do I need to take notes during a video call?

With KetoBasic and KetoPremium pre- and postwork is included.

Do you provide meal plans?

I do not provide meal plans. A proper keto meal plan needs to meet several requirements: personal macros, budget, taste, intolerances, allergies, cultural background and so much more. This takes a lot of time and the cost of keto coaching would be much higher. I rather prefer to keep my coaching services as accessible as possible.

In practice it is also very important for the succes of this lifestyle to learn how to do the planning yourself: it provides insight into your own macros, teaches you to listen closely to what your body needs and gives self-confidence. I do provide all the support when needed: thinking along with your meal planning is part of KetoSupport.

I am vegan/vegetarian, is that an issue?

Unfortunately I do not provide coaching for vegan or vegetarian keto.

Is keto coaching right for me?

I advise to book an advisory consultation if you have any questions. During this consultation I will make an analysis of your current lifestyle and you will receive advice with regard to keto coaching. This video call lasts 30 minutes and is free of charge. I had read an article about keto in a magazine. It was about a woman my age who experienced less peri-menopausal symptoms because of keto. I visited my GP a few weeks later and I told her I had some of those symptoms: not sleeping very well, my tummy always seemed bloated, and I kept gaining weight despite eating right and lots of running. I asked her if she had heard of keto and she immediately said that it would be a very good idea for me to try it. Interesting, because I actually expected her to be against it.


I did not want to do this on my own, so that is how I found Sevi. And I have learned so much from her in such a short time, not just about what to eat but also for example how I could get better sleep. She also told me all the running I did wasn’t such a good idea, cortisol goes up and weight loss gets more difficult because of that. On her advice I reduced the running and started training with light weights instead.


I already feel better: I sleep well, with the exception of a few nights here and there, the food is lovely and I notice my stomach area is less bloated and my clothes fit better. I have no idea if I have actually lost weight because that is something else Sevi has taught me: to stop the weighing and instead look in the mirror and see how clothes fit. And I do see some changes already that make me very happy.


In hindside I could have perhaps figured this out myself but getting the correct information from the start without having to look it up all the time is worth its weight in gold. And Sevi is a lovely coach, very much involved and always prepared to listen to you.


I don’t like cooking!

Not everyone is fond of cooking, keto or otherwise, and so I get a lot of questions along the lines  of ‘How can I make things easier on myself?’.

I understand completely: some people may find it very relaxing to spend time in the kitchen but others rather relax in a different way. Time can also be an issue: long workdays, family life and activities planned in the evenings such as exercise or studying leave little time to spend in the kitchen.

So here are my quick tips for those of you on a keto lifestyle looking to avoid too much cooking:

  • keep your meals really simple and skip elaborate recipes that take time and loads of ingredients: a simple protein source (meat, fish or poultry), plenty of vegetables and added healthy fats and you are good to go;
  • maybe batch cooking is for you: yes, you will need go grocery shopping for a whole week AND spend a good chunk of time on one day of the week to prepare it all but if it saves you from the annoyance of cooking daily it might be worth it;
  • make sure you have a list of simple go-to or favourite meals that you can eat on rotation, this saves you time in having to come up with meals every single day;
  • stock up on essentials so you have proper keto foods to eat on those days when cooking is really something you can not bear: having nothing in the house on those days may lead you to derail and cheat.

How does it work

Advisory consultation | 30 minutes
During this video call I will make an analysis of your current lifestyle and you will receive advice with regard to keto coaching.

Consultation | 60 minutes
You can ask all your keto- and lifestyle questions during this video call. An intake form or an insulin resistance symptoms check is not included, if you do wish these to be included a surcharge applies. Consultations can also be booked as a series and in addition to KetoBasic and KetoPremium.


KetoBasic | 1 month
You will first receive an intake form. Based on your answers and the results of the insulin resistance symptoms check, we will map out your goals and medical history during your intake (90 minutes, video call). I will also explain the practical aspects of keto and you can ask all of your questions. Afterwards you will receive a PDF with a summary of your call and your Startadvice. Included with this package are weekly consultations (60 minutes, video call), KetoSupport (workdays, WhatsApp or email) and 1 follow-ups (30 minutes, video call).


KetoPremium | 3 months
You will first receive an intake form. Based on your answers and the results of the insulin resistance symptoms check, we will map out your goals and medical history during your intake (90 minutes, video call). I will also explain the practical aspects of keto and you can ask all of your questions. Afterwards you will receive a PDF with a summary of your call and your Startadvice. KetoSupport
I will be available on work days between 9.00 and 17.00 CET to answer all questions, give interim macro advice and provide practical and emotional support. This can be done via e-mail and WhatsApp. KetoSupport can be booked in addition to a consultation or as an addition to KetoBasic and KetoPremium.
